NBD cardholders exclusively offered new SMART Visa Debit Card
National Bank of Dubai (NBD) has today launched its new SMART Visa Debit card designed to be 'smarter', safer and more rewarding for customers. The new NBD SMART Debit card gives customers unrivalled state of the art security as well as valuable cash rewards and loyalty benefits.
Featuring a microprocessor chip, the vertically designed NBD SMART Debit card uses an individual PIN number to confirm transactions as well as verifying that the card used is authentic. The state of the art technology used in the Smart card will significantly improve security and reduce card fraud by ensuring that the card cannot be misused should it be lost or stolen.
In addition to the added security features, NBD's SMART Debit card offers cardholders the chance to receive rewards and loyalty benefits by using the card. Cardholders can earn and accumulate cash value worth 0.40% for both domestic and international purchases; making it the highest cash reward scheme in the region for debit cards. Cardholders accumulated cash value will be automatically credited at the end of each quarter to their NBD bank account.

A unique loyalty scheme available to NBD Smart Card holders will be available in the near future and offers the option to collect valuable points and redeem them against exciting gifts and special offers at a wide range of premier shopping establishments, locally and internationally.
