Abu Dhabi, UAE, 16 February 2017: Marriott International, Inc (NASDAQ: MAR) Hotels has today opened the doors to a its second Marriott Hotel brand property in Abu Dhabi, the Marriott Hotel Al Forsan. This 400-bed five-star hotel offers sophisticated design and innovation throughout, with inspirational views and new experiences appealing to both business and leisure travellers.

The Marriott Hotel Al Forsan offers 612 m² square meter of fluid meeting space and is designed to accommodate meetings, conferences and social occasions of all sizes. The Al Forsan Ballroom, Karam meeting room and the Boardroom offer the latest in high tech and high touch conferencing technology. The 450 m² square meter ballroom which can cater for up to 400 guests is also available for everything from gala dinners to weddings.

Seven different styles of thoughtfully designed modern bedrooms are generously proportioned ranging from 42 m² to 212 m², many offering unrivalled views of the Sports Resort’s waterski and wakeboarding lake and equestrian centre, paddock and polo field. Each room provides a restorative retreatis fitted out with modern amenities and innovative technology to ensure both comfort and connectivity during every stay. .The personalised service, multilingual hosts and the concierge app service ensure that every guest’s need is catered for.

All the room and event hire spaces can be formatted and segmented to accommodate a small meeting to a large scale event with dedicated staff and event planners to bring Marriott Hotels’ signature meetings concept, Meetings Imagined to life. The lobby also features a separate space for event organiser liaison and deal closing, offering comfort and ensuring privacy at all times.

The hotel offers an expansive outdoor space for events including the 1000 capacity open air terrace situated at the front of the hotel and surrounded by open air cooking facilities and a 50m Olympic lap pool.
