One of the UK’s leading educational institutions, the London School of Marketing (LSM), has opened its second strategic hub in Dubai.
The office, located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, will work with current and future students interested in gaining a UK accredited qualification with LSM.
Over 5,000 students from the region have already gained qualifications through the school and it’s hoped the new office will support thousands more to achieve qualifications.
Six members of staff will be based at the office to answer student questions and will work with them to tailor courses to suit their educational needs.
The office will work closely with students in the Middle East and North African markets.
Further offices are due to open in Mumbai later this year and in Singapore in early 2018.
London School of Marketing already has a strong presence in the United Arab Emirates with six of its Local Access Points (LAPs) already located in the region.
The LAPs act as regional centres for international students, where they can access educational facilities online and collaborate with fellow students, allowing them to gain a British qualification without leaving their own country or jobs.
The ground-breaking project has helped international students enhance their careers by gaining internationally recognised qualifications.
So far, over 28,000 students have been educated by LSM with the school having
32 Local Access Points (LAPs), which are spread across three continents and 19 countries.
LSM’s Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Anton Dominique said: “I’m really pleased about how the London School of Marketing has grown throughout the years.
“Our Middle Eastern market has expanded rapidly, so it was an obvious choice to open up a new office in Dubai to provide an even better service to our students.
“London School of Marketing’s state-of-the-art learning platform gives students the opportunity to study British courses from anywhere in the world, at their own pace, using their own style.”
Along with providing immediate answers and additional support, the school hopes the offices will provide extra assurance to students, with a significant increase of bogus schools and fake universities.
Head of Marketing, Communications and Corporate Reputation, Gimhani Gunasinghe said: “Currently, we have educated over 5000 students from the Middle East; we want to strengthen our presence and build a close relationship with them.”
