Transtek Systems announced the appointment of Husam Khaskieh as its Chief Executive Officer starting 1 February 2021. Khaskieh has been Transtek’s managing director since 2015, leading operations and strategy execution.

Mohamed Haykal chairman of Transtek’s Board commented that: “Husam’s impact on Transtek is remarkable, whether in terms of team, product, or market.” He added: “Our Board members were unanimous in endorsing this appointment and we’re thrilled and committed to support the new CEO and his team to deliver outstanding results.”

“Husam played a pivotal role in Transtek’s growth and his resilient leadership has been key to our success,” said Abdulsalam Haykal, co-founder of Transtek Systems, who has led the company since its relocation to the United Arab Emirates six years ago. “We’re committed to staying as the provider of choice to clients and channel partners alike, and Husam’s long and diversified experience in both engineering and commercial functions across Transtek’s business is key to serving our clients and continuing our strong growth trajectory.”

“Transtek’s new beginning in the UAE has been an incredible journey, and I’m excited by opportunities that lie ahead,” said Husam Khaskieh, Transtek’s newly appointed CEO. “I’m grateful to the Chairman and the Board for their vote of confidence. I look forward to building on our co-founder Abdulsalam Haykal’s truly transformative role; thanks to his vision and able stewardship, Transtek has a springboard for further growth and expansion,” he added.

“The enterprise software market is growing rapidly globally and in our region. As we continue to cement our leadership in fixed assets and maintenance systems, we’ll be exploring other needs in the supply chain function,” Khaskieh added. “Our systems are implemented in 15 countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. There’s a lot of room for growth, especially with our bold vision, capable and committed team, and network of well-positioned and dynamic channel partners.”

Transtek was founded in 2001 and launched its operation in the United Arab Emirates in 2015. Among its products is the market-leading “Mojodat” Fixed Assets Management System, and other software systems in maintenance, warehousing, human resources, and anti-money laundering (AML).
