Dr. Amal Al-Malki, founding dean of CHSS, who will deliver the opening address at the event, said: “This year marks the tenth consecutive year that TII has hosted its conference; one that attracts academics, researchers, and practitioners across numerous branches of translation studies.

“Our ambition over the last decade has been to expand awareness of the scholarship, learning, and research, which is driving the increasing sophistication of translation services and improving how we communicate.

“We invite those with an interest in translation studies to register to attend the event, and they can look forward to an enriching and rewarding experience that will offer insights into the current developments in the field, and how individuals, organizations and countries are implementing these advancements as they specifically pertain to their translation requirements.”

The 10th TII conference will welcome over 40 speakers from more than 16 countries, including Belgium, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, France, Brazil, Poland, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Canada, Algeria, Morocco, South Korea, South Africa and Slovakia.
