Following a successful launch in the United States in 2009, French brand EMTEC, a European leader in mobile storage solutions and computer peripherals, and n°1 selling brand of USB flash drives in France, opens distribution in the Middle East. The company is seeking partners to commercialize its USB sticks, memory cards and optical media throughout the GCC area, and more widely within the CIS, Africa and Iran. To that end, the company will attend GITEX in Dubai from October 17th to 21st, 2010 to introduce its innovative products to the market.

USB sticks designed by EMTEC combine design and efficiency. For instance, the classic C400 range, renewed in 2010, features an exclusive, trendy design, a dynamic shape, together with bright, flashy colours, one for every capacity (ranging from 2 to 32GB).
Among the mini 3D sticks, an EMTEC speciality, the Zoo range includes 4 cute miniature animals (no larger than 45mm), made out of soft-touch rubber material: the Panda, the Panther, the Mouse and the Teddy Bear. More than just a USB stick, this is an original accessory that can be taken anywhere: every stick has a small chain with a rubber cap holder which lets you carry your stick with you and hang the cap when the stick is connected to a PC.
Other mini 3D models include the Aquarium range, representing 4 sea animals: the Penguin, the Dolphin, the Sea Tortoise and the Clown Fish. Farm Animals, the latest mini 3D range, features the most endearing country animals, with 3 models intended for the Middle-Eastern market: the Rabbit, the Cow and the Chicken.
Another EMTEC exclusive design, the Metal mini sticks look just like jewels. Unique and original, these can be used as actual fashion accessories, perfect as a mobile phone decoration, and available both in a men's model with an embedded gear shift, or a women's model with embedded crystals.
EMTEC's recording media catalogue is completed by a wide selection of memory cards (SD, mini SD, micro SD and Compact Flash) and optical media (CD, DVD and Blu-Ray sold in a slim case, jewel case, video box or spindle packaging depending on the model).
Also available for immediate distribution, N120 and N200 multimedia bridges, which can play music, photos and videos stored on any USB peripheral, either a stick, an external hard drive or a camera, directly on a television set.
EMTEC will strengthen its implantation strategy in 2011 by extending its portfolio of products available for sale in the Middle East to 2.5" external hard drives and multimedia hard drives. Mini Cube P200 and Movie Cube digital players and recorders, integrating multimedia hard drives, will thus be offered on the high-end entertainment market. The new products launched in 2011 will include Movie Cube Theater T800, an innovative Movie Cube model featuring an onboard video projector.
