Dubai, April 17 2006: eCompany, Etisalat's one-stop e-powerhouse business unit that provides Internet services and ICT solutions today announced the launch of US Curriculum courses on its LearnOnline@Schools portal.  The US Curriculum consists of Language Arts, Mathematics and Science, delivered in English language. It caters to students from Kindergarten up to grade 8.  Parents and teachers can take advantage of this new library to enrich their children's learning experience.

Subscriptions to these subjects are made easy and available online at http:// schools.learnonline.ae. The pricing model for home users is very competitive at Dhs 196 for all subjects per grade for a period of one year. Various subscription packages are also available for schools depending on the number of license IDs required.

According to Abdulla Hashim, Assistant General Manager, eCompany, "The UAE is among the earliest adapter of e-Learning in the Arab World on both academic and corporate level.  The e-Learning market in the UAE is expected to grow to reach US$60 million as per different research reports.  This is due to the ICT advancement in the UAE and the different government initiatives that made the UAE move from delivering e-Learning solution to providing  content."
