Doha, Qatar – Doha’s largest and preferred mall for shopping, family and entertainment, Doha Festival City is participating in Shop Qatar 2018 and is preparing to host the closing ceremony raffle draw for the third consecutive year.

Shop Qatar organized by the Qatar National Tourism Council is an annual event that brings shoppers in Qatar massive discounts across various retailers and the opportunity to win extravagant prizes. This year, Doha Festival City has been chosen to host the closing ceremony raffle to conclude the Shop Qatar festivities on the 20th of January 2019. Prizes include a Range Rover, on display from the 18th of December at the entertainment node, and QAR 800,000 in cash prizes.

In addition to a series of all-family fun activities, shoppers can take advantage of massive sale and promotions, which began on the 15th of December, on clothing, beauty, hair products, electronics and many other items throughout the duration of the festivities.

During the closing ceremony of Shop Qatar which will be hosted by Doha Festival City shoppers can also experience the wheel of fortune where shoppers can win some amazing prizes and enjoy live music through a special performer who will perform on 20 January 2019 making Shop Qatar the most memorable one yet.

During Shop Qatar, the kids will be enthralled with Doha Festival City’s partnership with one of the most popular kids channels, Cartoon Network with Adventure Time Activity Zone, which will recreate The Land of Ooo featuring an array of activities for kids aged between 6 and 12 years on the 16 December 2018 until 2nd January 2019 (2pm-4pm) at the Center Court on the Ground Floor. The activities will include Jake’s Labrynth, Arts & Crafts, The Magic Man’s Head, Iceberg Mountain, a maze, mini golf, watching TV episodes, a VR experience and lots of great photo opportunities! Visitors of Shop Qatar to Doha Festival City can also experience roaming parades, face-painting and balloon bending during the weekends of this month-long festivity.
