Damas International Limited ("Damas") announces today that it has received the resignations of the following directors from the Board of Damas.

  • Mr. Nicholas Hegarty - non-executive, independent director

  • Mr. Tariq Ali- non-executive, independent director

  • Mr. T.N. Pratap - non-executive, non-independent director

The resignations of Mr. Tariq Ali and Mr. T.N. Pratap are effective from today, 21 September 2011, and the resignation of Mr. Nicholas Hegarty is effective from yesterday, 20 September 2011.

The nominations of the above mentioned directors for re-appointment to the Board of Damas, to be considered at the Annual General Meeting of Damas (AGM) to be held on 22 September 2011 and as advised via the AGM notice released to the market via CANDI on 28 August 2011, stand withdrawn.
