Dubai - Cylingas, a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), marked its 40th anniversary with a gala celebration in Dubai, highlighting its contribution to the region's oil and gas sector in manufacturing storage cylinders and providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services.
The first company in the GCC region to manufacture gas cylinders, Cylingas has expanded its operations to now provide the full-spectrum of EPC services for the oil and gas sector, and is currently undertaking several prestigious projects that add value to the industry.
At the gala ceremony, Cylingas management presented an overview of the company's growth and its future plans, and also honoured long-service employees for their contribution to the organisation.

Established by a decree by the late Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Cylingas first focused on manufacturing gas cylinders before expanding to shop fabrication products and bulk liquid storage, and now EPC services. The company holds the "U" and "U2" Stamp from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) as well as the "R" Stamp from the National Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessels Inspectors (NBBI).
The EPC division of Cylingas supports the industrial and energy sectors, with a focus on storage projects, and complements the company's reputation as the builder of storage infrastructure projects for the hydrocarbon sector.
Cylingas is renowned for its excellent design, engineering and field construction of elevated above ground tanks for storage of petroleum and refined products, refinery process vessels and other steel plate structures. Future plans include opening offices in Abu Dhabi and Oman, and appointing agents in other Middle East markets. Cylingas has executed challenging jobs for renowned companies in the GCC, the Indian Ocean islands and African countries.
With approx. 300,000 sq. ft. of modern manufacturing and fabrication unit in Dubai supported by a competent skilled work force and state of the art infrastructure facility, Cylingas delivers a wide range of products and services including oil and gas storage tanks, API 650 and 620 vertical storage tanks, pressure vessels, process equipment, pipeline spools and allied products, as well marine loading arms, industrial civil and structural works, and under/above ground pipelines.
Cylingas is a pioneer in turnkey central LPG installations, gas distribution infrastructure, for industrial and commercial clients such as hotels, resorts and residential complexes.
