AMMAN - Following the launch of the first of its kind lectures earlier this month, BabyWise Program announced the commencement of its daily workshops, held in collaboration with Farah Hospital in Jordan, targeting expecting parents and parents of newborns.
The workshops will tackle different topics that are related to mothers, including how to properly deal with children without fear or tension, and how to gain more experience in child care, in addition to live applications explaining different child-treatment approaches.
Dr. Medhat Abu Shaaban said "The BabyWise Program's workshops aim to provide expecting parents and parents of newborns with more in-depth information and practical experience pertaining to newborns' treatment, with the help of a specialized team of nurses to assure the delivery of a distinctive child care experience."
He added "BabyWise program will provide parents with the right information to build a healthy family, in addition to assisting them in making right decisions on various topics and issues related to their children's health."
The daily workshops will also shed light on the general appearance of newborns, bathing the baby, cradle cap, diaper rash, taking care of baby's skin, general safety, hiccups and sneezing, burping , swaddling, umbilical care cord, breast feeding, bottle feeding, bowel movement and crying.
BabyWise workshops are sponsored by a number of leading conglomerates including the Nuqul Group (FINE) and (FINEE), Pharmacy One, Al Faridah Group and Al Kawn Group.
