ART Marine, The Leading Marine Hospitality Company in the Middle East, proudly announces the arrival of the Azimut yachts range flagship.
The astonishing Azimut 116 arrived last week in Dubai, together with four other Azimut yachts: the Azimut 39, the Azimut 46 and two Azimut 68 Evolution, all ready for delivery to their lucky owners. ART Marine has sold three Azimut 116 in the Gulf so far, two of them have already been delivered and another one is to be delivered in June 2007; Captain Alessio Tumbiolo, CEO of ART Marine, foresees an increase in the demand for this particular yacht in the region.
This magnificent 116 feet 6 inch motor yacht has been designed by Stefano Righini in perfect harmony with Azimut's styling department, while the inside decoration was done by Carlo Galeazzi. This combination guarantees our customers maximum flexibility, absolutely essential on a craft of this size.
Twelve units have been launched and delivered already, two of them to ART Marine; two Azimut 116 are currently under construction at the Viarregio shipyard, the next available delivery date is now February 2008.
The craft has an overall length of 116 feet 6 inch and is 24 feet 3 inch wide. Large elliptical windows on the sides illuminate the main deck and the internal wheelhouse. Six large oval portholes illuminating the guest's cabins characterize the lower deck.
The sun deck has two hard tops which open electronically giving shading on the superbly equipped fly bridge from the wheel house to the hydro massage tub.
The Azimut 116 is available in three versions: with the owners' suite on the main deck and four guests' cabins on the lower deck, like the one displayed at the Miami Boat Show; with all five cabins on the lower deck with ample spaces on the main deck and an alternative layout for the US market called 'country kitchen' is proposed including the captains cabin. The crew cabins are forward of the lower deck and can be easily modified either with two or three cabin format all with bathrooms, or with a dining area or a washing and ironing area.
All on board systems conform to the highest standards in terms of quality, comfort and security.
The layout and equipment of the engine room express the result of extensively studied engineering, totally insulated and soundproofed to guarantee minimal noise transmission to the surrounding areas. It is monitored by a control room.
In addition to the 2 x 2400 hp MTU engines, with the relative auxiliaries including the exhaust silencer, the engine room also has two 55KW Kholer GGEE's, 'Cruisair' cooling units for the air conditioning including primary air treatment, the bilge and fire pumps, the fresh water autoclave pumps, the fuel transfer pump, the plant for engine and generator oil change.
The garage in the stern can accommodate a tender and two jet skis, or alternatively, the tender and one Jet Ski to leave space for an extra crew cabin with bathroom.
Included in the craft's standard equipment is an electric 50hp bow thruster, Raytheon RNS 1500 Raytech Navigation System (latest navigational apparatus), touch Screen monitoring and craft control.
