Jeddah, 28 February 2005 - "Amiantit Group - owner of Flowtite technology - has recently licensed two Flowtite machines for producing GRP pipes to "Fiberlogic PTY Ltd", which is one of the largest GRP pipe-producing companies in Australia" CEO Fareed Alkhalawi announced yesterday. The machines will be shipped in August and the plant is to begin production early November, 2005. The plant will be built in Lonsdale in the south of Australia on a 50,000 squared meter land with an investment of 15 million Euros. Fiberlogic has been marketing and selling Flowtite pipes in Australia. Their confidence in Flowtite products along with Flowtite pipes' reliability and durability led to the licensing of the two machines.
"This deal comes to confirm the domination of Amiantit's state of the art technologies and their acceptance all over the world" added Alkhalawi.
Amiantit owns a number of technologies that it licenses and markets. It is the world's largest glass fiber reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes and tanks manufacturer, with 33 plants stretching from as far as China to the USA, producing GRP, glass reinforced epoxy (GRE), ductile iron (DI), concrete cylinder (CCP) and high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe systems among other types of products with the aim to serve the different communities and ensure a cleaner and safer globe.
