A delegation of the Military Works General Administration has recently visited Al-Jazeera Paints in Khamis Mushayt of Asir Region. The visit encompassed a visit to the General Administration offices, and an orientation guided tour to the production units of Al-Jazeera Paints factory. The delegation had a firsthand look at the production lines and production mechanisms, and visited the quality control department, research and development center; which is regarded one of the elite world research centers in terms of testing and high quality measurement equipment. The Center tests all products that must comply with the Middle East region climate and weather conditions, which are known for high temperatures and long sunny days around the year. The delegation also visited Al-Jazeera Paints Academy, which is the first themed academy in the Middle East that is specialized in training and teaching methodologies of paint applications.
The delegation also attended a lecture held at the Academy, on the company history and development over the past years. They were also briefed on the concept of paints quality and methods of testing, green buildings, environmentally responsible paints and their role in providing a healthy environment to dwellers and workers, as well as the concept of comprehensive quality at Al-Jazeera Paints.
The delegation expressed thanks and appreciation to the company management for availing this opportunity to visit the different departments and factory of Al-Jazeera Paints, including the advanced production lines responsible for the production of all types of high-quality domestic and industrial paints, the quality control laboratory, and the research and development center. They also voiced satisfaction with the advanced technologies utilized at the factory; hence commended the highly developed directives envisaged by the management.
On the other hand, Al-Jazeera Paints Academy concluded a training course for engineers of the quality control department at the General Presidency of Youth Welfare. The training course entailed techniques of testing quality of paints, environmentally responsible paints of Al-Jazeera Paints, Green Seal Accreditation requirements, which attest that Al-Jazeera Paints meet the highest requirements, standards, and world environmental systems; as well as uses of green technologies, preparing concrete surfaces for coating, construction and concrete defects, paints type classification, as well as methods of selecting proper paint types.
The engineers expressed admiration for the information they acquired during the training course, and voiced pride with Al-Jazeera Paints as a national company of an international standard. They reiterated that Al-Jazeera Paints is an edifice and a prime model of national industries.
