Following the successful preliminary round held at Virgin Mega Store (Deira City Centre), Al-Futtaim Panatech (LLC), an Al-Futtaim Group company, and Technics are all geared up for the final round of Technics 'Sultans of Spin' DJ Challenge along with the launch of latest Technics DJ equipment in UAE. The finals will be held at Trilogy, Madinat Jumeirah, on December 1st, 2005, and the winner of the DJ challenge will take home the latest Technics Digital Turntable.

The competition that kicked off on November 21st, 2005 had twelve DJ aspirants from around UAE participate. Five DJs who got the crowd and the judges impressed with their mixing ability, stage presence, skill and originality, namely DJ Adam, DJ Solo, DJ Freezy, DJ Bad Boy and DJ Ray, will be performing at the finals at Trilogy from 8:00 p.m. on December 1st, 2005, all battling to become the 'Sultans of Spin'.

Parallel to the DJ competition, Technics, a brand that needs no introduction to the DJ community, will showcase an exhibition at the same venue from 4:00 pm right until the competition begins. This exhibition will have on display the entire range from Technics, the world leader in the turntable industry. Furthermore, Technics digital turntable, 1200 series lineage, will be launched at this high-voltage event. This new state-of-the-art product is set to revamp and spice up club scenes around the region.

Commenting on the initiative, a spokesperson at Al-Futtaim Panatech said, "If you enjoy good music and want to experience the art of mixing, the Technics 'Sultans of Spin' is the event to be at. This event is special and will further add colour to an already thriving club scene. By the end of the night, the city will have two stars, one being the ultimate DJ and the other Technics, perfect DJ equipment that makes the ultimate DJ.

Technics DJ products launched at the event will be available at all outlets of Al-Futtaim Panatech, Virgin Mega Store and Desert Beat trading.
