LONDON - British finance minister Philip Hammond does not believe the time is right for Britain to ask the European Union to delay its scheduled March 29 departure from the bloc, broadcaster Channel 4 reported on Monday.
"Chancellor still insists now is not the time to call for extension of A50 (Article 50)," the broadcaster's business editor Siobhan Kennedy said on Twitter.
"They're going to get a deal, he tells me," she added.
