Morocco’s consumer price index was flat year-on-year in January, the high commission for planning said on Monday.

Non-food prices increased by 0.6% while food prices dropped 0.8%. On a month-on-month basis, the index rose 0.1%.

Core CPI, which excludes prices of volatile goods, rose 0.2% on a month-on-month basis and 0.4% year-on-year.
