AMMAN — The Military Surveying Department at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and the Egyptian Ministry of Defence on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of survey sciences and geographical information.

The memo aims to enhance cooperation, joint action and exchange of expertise in training and military fields, geographical information systems, surveying sciences and remote sensing and geographic information systems, in addition to increasing the efficiency of research and development in both countries’ armed forces, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Several high-ranking officers from the two armies attended the signing ceremony that was hosted by the Royal Geographical Centre.
