Abu Dhabi, 9 March 2013 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in the Eastern Region, visited todaythe Qasr Al Hosn Festival, a celebration of the iconic building and of centuries of rich Emirati culture and tradition.

Sheikh Tahnoun, accompanied by Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), and Sheikh Hazza bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Undersecretary of Court of the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, watched the Story of a Fort, Legacy of a Nation Showand later engaged in folklore dances at the open-air theatre stage.

The Story of a Fort, Legacy of a Nation Show fuses over 250 years of history and culture into 50 minute shows.

He also toured The Qasr al Hosn Exhibition, which reflects the history of Abu Dhabi by shedding light on the fort?s historical significance and features a collection of video memories and artifacts depicting the nation?s history.

The Festival, a showcase of music and dance, culture and tradition celebrating Qasr al Hosn?s prestigious history, will bring to life the unique traditions that make the UAE what it is today, and showcase the talent, skills and culture of its people.
