Cairo: Sudanese investments in Egypt stand at nearly $95.1 million, the Egyptian investment and international cooperation minister said.

These investments are mainly focused in the fields of livestock farming, industry, and real estate, Sahar Nasr added in a statement on Tuesday.

This came on the sidelines of a meeting between the minister and her Sudanese counterpart Idris Suleiman with the attendance of the Sudanese ambassador to Cairo Abdel Mahmoud Abdel Halim.

Both parties discussed boosting mutual cooperation between the two African countries over the coming period.

Moreover, Suleiman has invited Nasr to visit the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, in a bid to strengthen collaboration between both states.
