Roads will provide easier access to Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road
The Road and Transports Authority (RTA) is set to open two parallel roads providing access to Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road in December.
With 98 per cent of the work over, the project is expected to ease traffic congestion on these two roads, reported Al Bayan. The roads will serve Al Barsha and Al Qouz Industrial area.
The three-lane road extends from Hasah Street in the south to Maydan Street in the north for a 15-kilometre stretch.
This is part of the first phase of the larger project that aims at developing roads parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road.
