AMMAN -- Nuqul Group, a prominent manufacturer of tissue paper in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the parent company of the FINE brand of products, has opened Al Sindian Paper Mill Company in Egypt, a state-of-the-art plant, which is the largest paper production mill in the region. The plant has been established to provide integrated services to Nuqul Group by ensuring availability of quality tissues in the region, developing higher market shares and increasing export volumes, to better serve its clients and markets where the group already has a strong presence.
The mill produces jumbo reels and is expected to export more than 80 per cent of the output of the new plant to Europe and the MENA region. The converting plant can produce a full range of premium quality tissue products -- facial and pocket tissue (full-size and minis), bathroom tissue, kitchen towel, napkins and industrial rolls. It also has embossing capabilities for kitchen towel and bathroom tissues. The plant was designed using the most advanced technology, complying with international environmental and health standards.
