Mustafa Sultan Exchange Co has launched an instant remittance service - Nepal SBI Remit - for remittances to Nepal.
This would be a state-of-the-art electronic money transfer service which envisages instant transfer of cash from point-to-point as also transfer to bank accounts in 24 hours through a secured payment gateway specially developed by Nepal SBI Bank for Mustafa Sultan Exchange which is managed by State Bank of India. The service has been made available at all 14 branches of the company, a press release said.
The service was launched by Akber Mustafa Sultan, managing director, Mustafa Sultan Enterprises, in the presence of Minoo Saher, group CEO, Mustafa Sultan Enterprises; Madhukar Anand, chief operating officer, Nepal SBI Bank Kathmandu, and other officials of Nepal SBI Bank who were in Muscat in connection with the launch of the service.
Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Prakash, GM, Mustafa Sultan Exchange, said that the new remittance facility would come up to the expectations of Nepali expatriates by offering them a fast and reliable service through a large network of 14 branches of Mustafa Sultan Exchange spread across the sultanate and over 1,050 outlets of Nepal SBI Bank in Nepal. He added that the 15th branch of the Mustafa Sultan Exchange will open in Al Khuwayr shortly.
Partha Sarathi Sarma, chief manager, Mustafa Sultan Exchange, Ruwi branch, while presenting the vote of thanks, assured visiting Nepal SBI Bank officials that the new service will be aggressively marketed among the target group and would meet the long-felt requirements of Nepali expatriates for a fast, secure, reliable and economical remittance service to Nepal.
