Doha - Qatar's monetary policy will be the topic of discussion at Lakom Al Qarar (The Decision is Yours), a monthly TV programme sponsored by Qatar Foundation aired by Qatar TV.

The programme for this month will be telecast at 10pm tomorrow and will feature the Governor of Qatar Central Bank, H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al Thani as the guest.

Several issues will be discussed threadbare, including the impact of the Qatari Riyal's pegging to the dollar on the national economy and on the overall inflationary situation in the country and the reasons behind the greenback's tumbling.

Other issues which will be covered in the programme are the Gulf Common Market and delink of the Qatari currency from the dollar to ensure its revaluation.

At the end of programme, a vote will be taken on the question: "Do you support the continuation of Qatar Riyal's pegging to the dollar."
