Amman - A Kuwaiti economic delegation on Sunday visited the Jordan Investment Board (JIB) and Jordan Industrial Estates Corporation (JIEC) to have a closer look at available investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
The Kuwaiti delegation visit's aims to follow up on a recent forum on industrial and tourism investment opportunities in Jordan, which was held in Kuwait last April. The visit also aims to look at Jordan industrial estates incentives for investors, and investment opportunities in tourism and industrial sectors.
The delegation held meetings with a number of Jordanian officials to explore wider scopes of cooperation and discuss launching joint ventures between the two countries.
Kuwaiti investments at Jordan's industrial estates reach about JD2 million and create 350 jobs, according to director of JIEC Amer Majali.
