KUWAIT -- The Kuwait Municipality and the Ministry of Health have been electronically linked, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs' Office Follow-up Chief Abdel-Karim Al-Zaid.
The electronic link project mainly aims to facilitate the issuance of health certificates for food-handling workers, he told a news conference following a coordinative meeting of the office.
The meeting was presided over by Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Dr. Fadhel Safar.
A contract is to be signed in March for considering a project for municipal archiving with a view to settling standards and priorities for a relevant plan of action, he said.
The municipality has started to use the electronic link-bearing program between the Department of Imported Food, Ministry of Health and Public Customs Administration, he added.
