Abu Dhabi, 7th Jan. 2012 (WAM): Germany's EGM Environmental Solutions GmbH announced that it has chosen the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as a centre of its operations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and named Abdullah Mangoosh as regional manager.

Mr. Wolfgang Gesen, Chairman of the Papenburg-based EGM Environmental Solutions GmbH, said in a press statement in Abu Dhabi that :''The decisionto take the UAE as a base for our operations in MENA springs out of the dynamic international role the UAE is playing in conservation of the environmentand introduction of forward-looking international environmental policies, particularly in Health Safety and the Environment (HSE). The UAE has also assumed instrumental role in coordinating international efforts to reduce carbon dioxide(CO2) emissions and to generate and use environmentally-friendly energy''.

Mr. Abdulla Mangoosh, Regional Manager, said he was extremely impressed with the German group's selection of the UAE as a centre for its operations inthe MENA.

Expressing his excitement about his new job, Mr. Al Mangoosh noted the UAE has always been at the forefront in environmental issues as many government related entities (GREs) have been working diligently to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve the environment.

He added that :'' The new centre in the UAE will provide a new ideal springboard and gateway to the region and the world at large and it will advance international collective efforts towards improving our environment and generating clean energy''.

He asserted the UAE will be a base for creative environmental technologies and solutions and a trade hub for enhanced environmentally-friendly fuel.

''Definitely, this will boost international efforts to deliver goals of Kyoto Protocol and Durban Resolutions aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions,'' he said.

The Group announced that it successfully discovered a process of bounding CO2 into water to generate Carbon Enriched Water employing its vortex technology.

Mr. Wolfgang Gesen, Chairman of EGM Environmental Solutions GmbH, has unveiled the new technological breakthrough through which CO2emissions could be cut by 50 to 75 %, a limit which is muchhigher than targets set out in the Kyoto Protocol and Durban Resolutions.

Under this process, he explained, carbon will be separated from oxygenwhich will be release into the air to produce environmentally-friendly products that are good for public health of man, animal and plantthrough bounding it with water to generate water for drinking and irrigation purposes. Or combining carbon bubbles with diesel and jet kerosene to get enhanced quality fuel at par with international standardsand benchmarks and has equivalent grade and full characteristics of the original diesel input, with higher calorific value resulting in higher performance.

EGM Bounding System (EBS) technology will be optimised for setting up plants for producing two new types of diesel and kerosene by blending one litre from each of the two fuels with water to produce two litres of higher performance than those available in the energy market.

The EBS is derived out of its patented invention called "Ultrasonic Vortex Cavitation" under the basics of Gravitational Quantum Dynamics.

Mr. Gesen said the EGM breakthrough technology is a gift to the mankind in 2012 and beyond as it will provide solutions to the environmental concerns and global economic crisis.

He viewed other current alternative solutions for reducing CO2 emissions like capture and storage of CO2 at earth layers and under oceans in the form of liquid under high pressure of CO2 bubbles as '' temporary solutions'' as stored CO2 inventoriescan appear back into the atmosphere due to cracks in earth and when the liquidCO2 changes into gas.

''The new technology has been developed after more than ten years of painstaking R&D and rigorous tests in Germany's institutes,'' he said.

According to him, the EMG has obtained licenses and patents from scientific research institutes on energy and environment in Germany, UK, UAE and Malaysia to invent the new technology.

''The green fuel is available for the whole humanity today. We are currently building a pilot plant in Malaysia at the capacity of 22,000 barrels per day.

The diesel and jet kerosene will be generated by using low energy of less than two watts, which is impossible before the new technology comes to life,''he said.

''The new fuel will reduce CO2 emissions and poisonous gases by at least 50% in comparison with the regular fuel which means the reduction percentage will be significantly higher than that of the Kyoto Protocol''.

Mr. Gesen said '' Our prime objective is to make this technology at hand of governments and companies of huge consumption of diesel and kerosene, especially in the sectors of aviation, electricity generation, land and sea transport, with the aim of reducing pollution and energy costs''.

He emphaised that his Group has no intention to compete with technologies of other industry players. ''Our aim is to serve the environment and market .... we are not against oil companies, rather we are working together to improve the environment and strike economic and environmental balance in generation of the new enhanced energy''.

Dr. Wan Hasni, Group CEO, said the EMG's partnership with the Government of Malaysia is based on delivery of scientific solutions to improve the environment and generate enhanced fuel.

''Apart from the positive environmental impact, the application of EBS technology in Malaysia helps to trim government fuel subsidy by about US$ 4 billion a year,'' he noted.
