DOHA: Schengen embassies in Doha receive high number of visa applications between May and September, said a joint press release.
"We are all committed to facilitate visa application process to the best of our abilities. For your own comfort and to ensure that you will be issued a visa in time, you are kindly advised to apply for your Schengen visa well in advance, as the visa process may take, for some nationalities, up to several weeks," said the release.
It also urges people to be sure that the application file is complete in order to prevent unnecessary delays.
All the necessary information for the visa application procedure is available on the websites of all Schengen embassies.
