TAEUS technology uses a pulsed energy source, specifically, radio frequency (RF), to transmit energy deep into tissue and generate ultrasonic waves based on the tissue composition (or tissue chemistry), differentiating lean and fatty tissues. These waves are then detected with ultrasound sensors at the skin surface and used to create high-contrast images using its proprietary algorithms.
