    TUNIS (TAP) - Difficulties faced in the achievement of 80 blocked infrastructure projects (bridges and roads), worth 2,500 million Tunisian dinars (MTD), were overcome, Minister of Equipment, Housing and Territory Development Mohamed Salah Arfaoui.

    During a meeting with the press held, Thursday in the government palace in Kasbah, the Minister asserted that 95% of the administrative problems were resolved.

    Works of 25 projects, with a cost of about 350 MTD, resumed out of a total of 34 projects totally blocked whose total cost is of 500 MTD, i.e. 70% of totality of projects.

    These projects whose works have already been launched concern notably interchange "Ezzouhour", the deviation of Grombalia city and rehabilitation of regional road 113 Aïn El Inba/Beni Khdach (Medenine).

    The government member announced the resumption of the works of 43 projects with a cost 1,650 MTD. These projects which concern notably the regional road 623 linking Bouâarada to Siliana, represent 90% of the totality of the projects blocked (47), whose cost stands at 1,900 MTD. He evoked the incompleteness of some parts of the Gabès/Ras Jédir motorway project, doubling of the national road n°3 and the road of El Fahs as well as doubling of national road n°1 Sfax/Mahras.

    According to Arfaoui, the 15 projects blocked with a cost worth 300 MTD, faced landed difficulties such as a part of the Gabès/Ras Jédir motorway, the deviations of Jendouba and El Fahs and the regional road n°47 in the governorates of Béja and Siliana.
