HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Honorary Patron of Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, has honoured Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) for its continuous support of Al Noor Training Centre and its activities. The partners and shareholders recognition ceremony, termed as #thankyoufromalnoor, was held at the Centre's premises. The event was attended by HE Abdullah Al Shaibani, Secretary General of the Dubai Executive Council and Vice Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Khalid Al Halyan, Chairman of the Board of Al Noor Centre, Board members, and representatives of a number of government and private organisations.

Khawla Al Mehairi, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications at DEWA, received the award on behalf of HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA.

"DEWA works to fulfil the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to promote community service. In order to become a sustainable innovative world-class utility, DEWA is committed to establishing the foundations of CSR by launching community and development initiatives and projects, working with all stakeholders to serve all society and support a healthy environment for all its members, including people with special needs," said Al Tayer.

This underlines our commitment to support charitable and humanitarian work and our CSR strategy, which includes several programmes to support humanitarian and charitable activities locally, regionally and globally," said Al Mehairi.
