Everyone, at some point in their lives, should think out of the box and form a new 'greener' perspective and 'shop' outside the box.  The Market OTB, which  was held from 15- 24 January, at South Ridge Park in Downtown Dubai was a key attraction of Dubai Shopping Festival for the sustainability of new eco-friendly concepts, and showcased an alternative shopping experience with entrepreneurs  operating out of refurbished shipping containers to sell retail and lifestyle brands.

"I feel the cultural atmosphere here and for me, this is one of the best places to shop. It has artisanal workshops, cool speakers and music performers" said Sam Trapi, a 26 year old from Lebanon during a visit to Market OTB.  "One won't  have a guilty conscience  because you know that while you are enjoying shopping,  mother nature is taken care of."

Charles Acut, a 43 year old citizen of the Philippines is thankful to Dubai Shopping Festival for bringing market OTB. "It gives a great chance to young entrepreneurs, like myself, to showcase our passion and great ideas and share with the lovely Dubai residents and tourists"

"It is the perfect place to shop and to dine during this perfect weather" says Cynthia Mennah, a 27 year-year old, from Mexico. "It has a cool new approach and they have quirky and unique brands."

DSF 2015 is organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and will run until 1 February 2015.
