Dubai - In line with the directions of the wise leadership of the UAE to encourage creativity and innovation, Dubai Land Department (DLD) announce the launchof "Corporate Creativity & Innovation Diploma" in collaboration between Planning & Corporate Development Department (Corporate Creativity & Innovation Department) and Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI), the educational arm of DLD. The diploma is provided to DLD employees and all Dubai Government employees.

The adoption of this diploma came in order to train and qualify the participants to understand the importance of creativity and innovation in the development of organizational work. The sessions focus on highlighting the potential of the human mind and innovative thinking, as well as deal with individual and institutional factors that play a role in achieving the creativity within the organization.

In order to take this diploma, participants are required to pass a personal interview and undergo evaluation by administrative team of the diploma. The participants will be trained on the importance of the positive energy and various types of creativity, as will undergo training on brainstorming techniques, as well as providing opportunities for them to attend panel discussions shared by professionals on creativity and innovation, and review case studies for distinctive institutions in the field of creativity.

"The launch of this important diploma came in response to the initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, where he announced that 2015 will be the year of innovation in the United Arab Emirates. Having where our country reached in this advanced level of sophistication and the renaissance, we face the challenges imposed on us to deliver innovative projects and creative ideas to always amaze the world," said HE Majida Ali Rashid, Assistant Director General of DLD.

Among the main objectives of DLD, entrenching the culture of corporate innovation at the department as well as raising a generation of creators to lead the next phase in creativity and change. At the same time, the program content will be in Arabic and English, while participants must attend all sessions to cover the educational content for 36 hours of training and its entirety focused on creativity and the tools and methods of creative thinking.

Rashid concluded: "The next few years efforts will not be enough, we need to work with distinction and creativity, especially as we see this as a catalyst for growth and the need for any organization to succeed. To reach such state, we need to be creative and learn the proper tools, where those ideas will turn into successful services or perhaps useful and new viable practices to use in order to achieve economic gains".
The diploma will present a series of interactive seminars, presented by pioneers of creativity from foreign and Emirati companies operating within Dubai, and it will be an opportunity for participants to visit a number of them to get to know the impact of those policies on the ground will also be hosting a number of lectures, seminars and discussion sessions under the supervision of a group of foreign speakers who represent the number of international companies and prestigious universities.

Graduates of the program will get the membership of the World Federation of Creative Professionals, and it will allow them to participate in a trip to attend "Creativity Conference" in one of the leading countries.
