Khartoum, Sudan - February 25, 2008: Children from across Sudan were welcomed into Sudan's exclusive new club recently when Blue Nile Dairy Company, the largest provider of dairy products in Sudan, launched CAPO Kids Club at the Khartoum International Fair.

Over 2100 children, from all areas of Sudan, became members of CAPO Kids Club during the 10 day event.

CAPO General Manager Akhtar Zahid described CAPO Kids Club as a way for CAPO to give back to the community through entertainment and education.

"The CAPO Kids Club which is completely free, is a forum where children from across Sudan, irrespective of personal history, are able to have fun and do what they do best: be children" he said.

Through the website children have exclusive access to games created especially for CAPO Kids Club, along with articles which are updated every month and a CAPO Kids Club blog, where members can share their thoughts.

As part of the CAPO Kids Club launch, CAPO Yo-Yo Champion, Oke Rosgana of Indonesia, returned to Sudan for the third consecutive year to entertain youngsters and hold workshops teaching the intricacies of Yo-Yo mastery.

During the 10 days of the Khartoum International Fair, children were able to register with the club for free, before they were given their new membership cards and membership number on the spot which entitled them access to the club's website.

"The children's response to the club has been amazing, every day of the festival we had hundreds of kids arriving at our stand wanting to join up," Zahid said.
