The Central Bank of Iraq's (CBI) dollar sales reached 118.688 million dollars on Wednesday, compared to $250.710 million in the previous session.
The CBI bulletin, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, said that these sales come after a decline in dollar sales following the new conditions made by the bank.
The average sales reached to 150-160 million dollars daily.The exchange rate reached to 1,166 Iraqi dinars for one dollar. None of the 17 banks that participated in today's session offered to sell dollars.The Central Bank of Iraq runs a daily auction from Sunday to Thursday.
