Abu Dhabi - Anjez initiative on Tuesday held its fourth Anjez event to inspire the future entrepreneurs of the UAE.

The event featured an address by Emirati Entrepreneur, Ms Alia Al Mazrouei on her experiences and journey and was hosted at Paris - Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. The event, which was limited to 100 guests, was attended by aspiring entrepreneurs, students from the Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, along with Invest AD- Abu Dhabi Investment Company representatives, and distinguished guests.

The Anjez initiative aims to empower young people through a series of motivational talks by Emirati inspirational entrepreneurs who have taken a non-traditional career path. The programme will host follow up several events a year where speakers will talk about their vocations, where their inspiration came from, how they got to where they are and who helped along the way, as well as lessons that they learned.

Manar Al Hinai, founder of the initiative and Senior Vice President, and Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Invest AD commented: "The initiative started in 2014 and we are pleased with the level of attendance and the partners who have joined us this CSR initiative. Our aim is to help stimulate future entrepreneurs with this initiative and to provide them and members of the community with the opportunity to speak and interact one-to-one with inspirational and successful people. This year we are pleased to have partnered up with Paris Sorbonne University."

Prof. Eric Fouache,Paris-Sorbonne Abu Dhabi University Vice Chancellor  highlighted how important initiatives such as Anjez are that target budding entrepreneurs that equip them with the necessary tools to boost their confidence. He added that preparing the future generation for the business world is one of the main objectives of the Paris- Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.
