The 'IBC - Content Everywhere' Exhibition and Conference  made its debut in Dubai this January and Abu Dhabi Media's Executive Director of Television Abdul Hadi Al Sheikh took part by sharing his insight on content creation during "How is the MENA TV industry adapting to the Content Everywhere revolution?" The panel was chaired by Nick Grande, Managing Director at Channel Sculptor, while David Butorac, Chief Executive Officer ,OSN and Khalifa Al Shamsi, Digital Services Officer at Etisalat joined Mr. Abdul Hadi Al Sheikh as speakers

The panel discussion revolved around the rapid development in the media industry, growth in the MENA mobile sector, the opportunities for digital convergence and significant increase in Arabic content digitally in the region.

Our strategy is focused on two areas: A) Capitalize Content; and this is achieved by utilizing strength of diverse product portfolio, content and distribution channels. B) Increase Engagement; which is achieved through delivering better user experience, streamlines content creation process and measure & creating a conversation with the end user." Commented Abdul Hadi when asked about Abu Dhabi Media's position and role in the media market.

"In parallel, ADM has a long term strategy to innovate through bringing new services to existing segments and to diversify its outreach through targeting new verticals based on lifestyle and/or behavior." He added.

During the panel, Al Sheikh shed light on the growing number of Arab youth who are adopting modern values as digital technology continues to reshape their behaviors and attitudes. It is noticeable that there is continuous growth in the consumption of digital content in the region which has resulted in the evolution of content that caters to these tastes and needs. "Abu Dhabi Media is a leading Arabic content creator and our very own Abu Dhabi TV network has adopted the latest technologies that provide our audiences with the same opportunity. " He said.

Till date, television is considered a dominant and impactful medium for advertising and with the advent of digitization, the industry is expected to expand its reach using the digital platform to virtually every corner of the country. The high-level annual conference provides a platform for regional and international industry leaders to discuss and share their experience of launching and managing new products and services that reach and engage the new generation of connected customers making it easy for companies and organizations such as Abu Dhabi Media to always have the latest technology in the business when it comes to broadcasting.
