Tehran - An official with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance said Iran is planning to absorb 7-billion-dollars worth of foreign investment this year in line with policies to promote Economy of Resistance.

The ministry's deputy for economic affairs Shapour Mohammadi said that the ministry is planning 12 national projects to promote these policies.

Talking to IRNA on Saturday, he said the ministry is also going to compile a program to expand scope of Iran's international economic interactions, supervise implementation of Economy of Resistance, installation of e-customs and full development of a plan to set up integrated system for electronic and economic transactions.

He further said that entrepreneurship environment has significantly improved since President Rouhani took office three years ago, with country's ranking rising to 118 in the list of world country from the previous 152.
