BEIRUT, 10th May 2017 (WAM) - Lebanon's Prime Minister Saad Al Hariri and UAE Ambassador to Lebanon Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, opened today the UAE Embassy's Consular Services Centre in Beirut.

The opening was attended by Minister of TourismAvedis Gidanian, Minister of Telecommunications, Jamal el-Jarrah, State Minister for Women Affair, Jean Oghassapian, State Minister for Refugees Affairs, Mou'een el-Meherbi, State Minister for Planning Affairs, Michel Pharaon, senior officials at the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, GCC ambassadors and members of diplomatic corps in Lebanon.

Al Hariri praised UAE's unlimited support to the unity of Lebanon and to the Lebanese people. He also thanked the UAE for the consular facilities offered through the centre to both the Lebanese and Emiratis.

Ambassador Al Shamsi lauded UAE's excellent fraternal relations with Lebanon and wished Lebanese President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Saad Al Hariri success.
