United Arab Emirates -Dubai 27 June: The College of Computer Information Technology launched Master of Information Library & Science program, to start the next semester. The program is designed to build a clear understanding of the principles of library science, awareness of delivery systems and information service delivery.
Prof/Dr. Muthanna' Abdul G Razzaq, President and CEO, AUE said " The new program is first of its kind in the region, and we are aiming to be one of the enduring successes of the American University in the Emirates, bringing together a mixture of theory and practice that truly demonstrates activities found in the workplace ".
"There are several objectives of the university is seeking to reach them by introducing this program like a clear understanding of the principles library science, awareness of delivery systems and information service delivery. In addition, developing skills on information organization and retrieval and Apply skills in understanding and evaluating developments in IT for library information services". He added
It's worth mentioning that the internship is a mandatory part of program. This will be an opportunity for students to apply program theories to the professional environment .it is found to be enormously beneficial to the learners and is particularly valuable in informing and developing ideas and theories for the dissertation .
