Service to consolidate connectivity infrastructure & provide a scalable platform for expansion
Dubai, June 24, 2009: Etisalat today announced that the NMC Group had selected its IP Connect service to go in for an advanced Ethernet based IP network to reliably transmit and retrieve business information. The service will help the group consolidate its diverse infrastructure and provide a scalable platform to accommodate any future growth in the customer network in addition to providing a converged network which unifies its voice, data and video communications.

NMC chose Etisalat's IP Connect services as it was the best fit in terms of scalability as well flexibility in service offerings. NMC Group will implement the IP Connect service to connect all its hospitals, warehouses, branch offices and corporate offices across UAE. Through this, NMC's operations across the country will be able to connect and transfer data securely over a robust network infrastructure.
With bandwidths ranging from 64Kbps to 1 Gbps, the IP Connect service will also meet NMC Group's requirement for more bandwidth to meet current application needs and for future growth.
