Dubai, UAE; 3 September 2006 - FedEx Express, the world's largest express transportation company and a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation (NYSE: FDX), announces the launch of FedEx Insight for the first time in the Middle East, the latest generation of online shipment visibility application for monitoring inbound, outbound and third party shipments.

Available for no extra charge at www.fedex.com, customers will be proactively notified by email of critical shipments with actionable information such as clearance delays, attempted deliveries and proof of delivery.

"FedEx has always been a leader in developing technology solutions for customers. We were keen to introduce a shipping tool that will help our customers improve their efficiency and flexibility in managing their operations," said Hamdi Osman, FedEx Vice President for the Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent and Africa. "FedEx Insight gives our customers the ability to plan manufacturing or distribution of resources more effectively, based on accurate knowledge of the supply chain "

Providing status details of all shipments including multiple piece shipments and content description information, FedEx Insight enables customers to track the progress of all of their consignments online, even if they do not have individual tracking numbers. This reduces the amount of time customers need to spend tracking packages and provides greater visibility of all of their import and export shipments.

By simply entering an Insight login ID, rather than the package tracking number, customers can view the status of all consignments in a more transparent way, including the time of delivery. The software is designed to help our customers operate efficiently while reducing the costs that arise from supply disruptions," concluded Hamdi.

Customers can find further information on FedEx Insight and other e*business solutions by visiting the FedEx website, www.fedex.com/ae/ebusiness/ and clicking on the 'Shipping Tools' link.
