Ajman:– Earlier this week, Ajman Saray, the Middle East’s first beach-side Luxury Collection resort, honoured Breast Cancer Awareness Month by joining hands with its sister properties from the world-renowned Marriott International brand network for the #Pinktober walk campaign, which has raised awareness and precious funds for the great powerful cause to support the Al Jalila Foundation and Brest Friends.
In line with Ajman Saray’s dedication to support CSR efforts and contribute to worthy causes, the #Pinktober walk is the latest initiative that supports cancer patients and survivors while empowering women in the UAE. The esteemed resort has been a member of Marriott International’s “Empower Through Opportunity” commitment for many years.
More than 130 associates from Ajman Saray and other Marriott International properties, including Sheraton Sharjah and Four Points By Sheraton Sharjah join efforts to contribute towards Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Dressed in pink hues, associates took to the streets of both Ajman and Sharjah in support of the #Pinktober initiative. The striking walk, which started at Sheraton Sharjah and ended at Ajman Saray caught great attention, helping to raise awareness of the campaign.

Following the completion of the walk, participating associates gathered for a delectable dinner, prepared by Ajman Saray’s highly talented chefs. The post-event social gathering further strengthened ties and fostered a greater sense of union between all members of Marriott’s expansive network.
The event was previously held in 2019, prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, and resumed this year, thanks to revised public health guidelines.
In addition to the walk for this powerful cause, Ajman Saray has also turned its dining outlets pink for the month of October, with the culinary team crafting special menu selections, curating pink themed events and donating 10% from all dining restaurant revenues generated during the first week of October to Al Jalila Foundation.
