Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday in green territory, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) grew 21.2 points, or 0.27%, to 7,936.25 points.

By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume hit 11.11 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 263.5 million through 9,020 transactions.

The media, telecommunication services, materials, and banking sectors increased 1.46%, 0.57%, 0.33%, and 0.29%, respectively.

On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector inched down 0.32%, while the capital goods sector fell 0.23%.

Saudi Fisheries Company’s (Al Asmak) stock led gainers with 3.73%, whereas the Saudi Industrial Services’ (SISCO) stock was the worst performer with 1.45%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, remained unchanged at 2,688.87 points.
