Investors behind the Wind towers have pumped about Dh350 million into eight new projects in Dubai and Iran, a senior company official told Gulf News.
The company launched Wind III and Wind IV yesterday at the Home Owners Dubai exhibition.
Farhad Fasihi, The Wind's vice-president for Sales and Marketing, said: "Following our successful launch of the Wind I and Wind II towers, which have been sold out, we have come out with Wind III and WInd IV projects for investors.
"Both the projects are currently in design stage. Wind III will be located in Iran, on a mountain region near the Caspian Sea, while Wind IV will be in Dubailand," he said.
"Wind III will have luxurious apartments and will be sold to high networth Iranian individuals and the facilties will include flying the residents to the apartments through business jets and helicopters."
Construction work for Wind I and II have already begun. Dutch Foundation has completed the ground and piling works, while Al Ahmedia Contracting Co is likely to be awarded the main construction contract, Fasihi said.
Wind IV, on the oher hand, is being developed as a mixed use upscale residential and commercial tower of 20 floors.
"The tower will have a hotel, a serviced apartment and residential apartments. We have not yet finalised the design yet, as we are looking for a suitable buyer/partner for the management of the hotel and serviced apartment components," he said.
"We will be able to customise the designs as per ther requirements, that's why the design has not been finalised."
The company, Fasihi said, have already purchased five plots in Dubailand. "We are currently working on the rest of the projects," he said.
"Our total investment in these projects are to the tune of Dh350 million. We are also talking to banks for bridge finance for some of the projects."
