DOHA: ZF Services and Mowasalat signed an agreement for the agency of ZF Services in Qatar. The agreement was signed in Friedrcihshafen on December 3. Mowasalat's efforts to set up a country wide service network and ZF's search for professional partner with a priority on quality and proactive service has brought two signatories of this agreement together.
Jassem Saif Al Sulaiti the Chairman of Mowasalat signed the agreement. He welcomed the joint project, stating that "in order to keep pace with the rapid growth of Qatar, Mowasalat will expand its local bus network and long distance passenger transport service, for which we need high level technical expertise and skills of a world-leading powertrain and chassis expert, which assists Mowasalat in selecting the ideal partner for the manufacture of Karwa buses in line with the highest international criteria and standards, such as ZF Services."
He also said, "Soon, Karwa will set up an exclusive state of the art ZF Services centre in Doha which will be one of the best in the region."
"Mowasalat and ZF have forged long term partnership which is a milestone in the history of both companies," Al Sultaiti added.
Matthias Benz, Member of ZF Services board said, "This new relationship is the result of four years of our active co-operation with Mowasalat to build trust and common understanding". Further, he said, "The strong economy of Qatar and rapid growth of country offers a great potential for both of us in terms of sales and service. As Karwa is dedicated to provide the best service in the MENA region, it is the right partner for us."
