ArabFinance: The Egyptian exports of food industries grew by 19% year-on-year (YoY) in 2021, according to a press release by the Egyptian food Expert council.

The value of food industries exports reached $4.1 billion in 2021, compared to $4.45 billion in 2020, the council highlighted.

Arab countries have led the top importers of Egyptian food industries exports in 2021, with a total value of $2.22 billion, representing 54% of total exports, followed by the European Union (EU) with imports valued at $634 million.

Saudi Arabia has been ranked the first among the top importers of Egypts food industries, with exports valued at $304 million, followed by Sudan and the US with Egyptian exports worth $223 million and $223 million, respectively.
