The International ​Energy ⁠Agency (IEA) is ready ‌to aid in ​stabilisation of the ​global oil market affected ​by the war in ⁠Iran, noting that member countries hold more than ​a ‌billion barrels ⁠in ⁠emergency stockpiles, Bloomberg News reported ​on ‌Tuesday, ⁠citing an agency document.

The agency called for a meeting at 2 p.m. (1300 GMT) Paris time ‌to discuss the situation in ⁠the Middle ​East, the report added.
