Muscat: Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) yesterday appointed Eng Samy bin Ahmed Al Ghassani as Chief Operating Officer and Talal bin Said Al Ma'amari as Chief Financial Officer.

This is in line with the board's efforts to enhance and strengthen the operational structure of the company, Omantel said in a stock market filing.
