MUSCAT -- Oman Mobile has launched a new offer that will significantly increase the capacity of BlackBerry for Hayyak and BlackBerry Light for Mada customers at the same low prices that customers currently enjoy. Usage capacities are being significantly increased for both plans. For prepaid Hayyak BlackBerry customers the usage allowance is being increased three-fold from 10MB to 30MB and Mada Light BlackBerry customers are seeing an increase from 50MB to 100MB.
Oman Mobile was the pioneer in introducing BlackBerry services to the Sultanate and the company is rewarding the growing demand for the service among its growing customer base with the new special offers.
Saleem Ahmed Abdullatiff, General Manager, Marketing at Omantel's Consumer Business Unit explained: "Oman Mobile has seen a strong demand for its BlackBerry services that has been boosted this year by the introduction of a new range of the latest devices.
"As a result we wanted to reward the loyalty of our customers with these great new offers.
"The new offer we are providing to both our Hayyak and Mada Light customers will enable them to have more data allowance for e-mail, attachments, browsing, and BBM."
The new offer is valid for the next two months and all existing customers will automatically benefit from the new packages.
New users of Hayyak BlackBerry service can subscribe to the new offer by sending the "BB" to 90891 and then follow the simple instructions. Meanwhile post-paid customers can subscribe by sending "BB" to 90003 and follow the simple instructions.
